KSM Neighbourhood Watch
Our Neighbourhood Watch was formed in 1991 and
covers the whole of the parish of
Kingston St Mary.
It is a simple idea. By working together we can -
- Cut crime and the opportunities for crime
- Help and reassure those who have concerns about crime
- Encourage neighbourliness
Street signs and window stickers deter would-be criminals by showing that we care about security and work together to promote it.
Our Neighbourhood Watch is divided into 20 areas, each with its own contact, who keeps residents informed of any incidents in the vicinity and passes on crime prevention messages from the police.
Householders can also be provided with security advice and window stickers and are welcome to borrow UV pens and other equipment to mark their belongings.
Membership of the Neighbourhood Watch scheme costs just £1 per household - but will reduce your home insurance premium.
